If you are not a soaker veteran and collector, it will be quite hard to distinguish the differences among the different kinds of soakers. For example, what features on certain soakers have changed through time and what still seems to be the best option available on the market today? However, even with the release of newer soakers, every model has its own flaws. Among these soakers, it is worth to consider a few models in assessing the benefits and the major concerns when buying specific water guns.
First, let’s take a look at the Super Soaker Max Infusion Flash Flood. This is an interesting choice with its dual firing system – the pressure stream and the Flash Flood system. The Super Soaker Flash Flood, however, is a low-range gun which takes off to a range of 30 feet. It is notable for having a weak main nozzle which competes with the original ancient Super Soaker. The Super Soaker Flash Flood nozzle does not actually produce a thick soak stream that is unable to neither saturate anything nor provide an accurate shot. In addition, the trigger also breaks a lot since Hasbro makes use of the Max-Distance style trigger.
Although it can be considered as a tough and ready gun and as the best gun this year, Max Infusion Defender has a rather small nozzle. The trigger may be awkward to grip but it actually feels good on the hand.
Super Soaker Flash Flood Max Infusion Pack
A slightly larger Max Infusion pack is the Overload. Compared to the guns nowadays, this model doesn’t have much capacity for water. As it is a pistol, it runs out of pressure easily and sometimes will be quite annoying to pump with the short strokes it allows. The range is, however, okay and it goes through 30 to 35 feet.
Helix is another soaker which makes use of a piston to push the water out. It shoots at an average range of 25 to 30 feet, depending on the strength of your shot. It is basically an ordinary water gun made just to fire water to your opponent.
Similar to Helix and makes use of the stream like the Super Soaker Flash Flood, is the Vaporizer. Among these soakers, this has the highest firing range of 40 feet, and makes a great backup for any water fight.
Liquidator and Oozinator
Next are the Liquidator and the Oozinator. The former can fire a decent distance of 35 feet, however, can barely hold any water. It fills the role of the pistol as well, although the pump is quite short and the stream isn’t very strong. The latter is capable of firing a decent range as well, but may actually look funky with its design. It may not be the best choice for young children other than as a gift, because of its high price compared to other soakers.
Your experience with different soakers may actually vary with other people. For some, their choice could be the Super Soaker Flash Flood, and for some it has to be the Vaporizer. These, however, are general concerns of most people when having these kinds of water guns. It is still best to try these Super Soakers for yourself and decide which among suits your preference and your use.
